Global Impact Competition - Miami

With the prize of attending Singularity University’s (SU) Graduate Studies Program, SU holds competitions around the world to identify outstanding participants and promote entrepreneurship that will positively impact regions around the world.

This year, with support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the 2015 Global Impact Competition Miami is inviting applicants to propose innovative solutions to sea level rise in South Florida. The competition is open to all U.S. residents, but ideas must focus on the challenge of sea level rise in South Florida. TWO winners from this competition will win the prize to attend the Graduate Studies Program during summer of 2015 at no charge

Competition Schedule

Competition Opens: February 23rd 2015
Competition Deadline: April 24th 2015
Finalist Announced: April 27th 2015
Winner Announced: Early May

Competition Rules:
Applicant must be age 21 or older on the first day of the GSP.
Applicant must meet all GSP application requirements, including fluency in written and spoken English.

Applicant must be legal US residents.
Applicant must provide for his or her own health insurance while in the U.S. to attend the GSP.
Applicant must meet the criteria to be on-site on the NASA campus where the GSP event will be located and comply with all NASA policies, rules and procedures.
Applicant must sign (where applicable) and comply with all agreements, terms and conditions, or policies applicable to all GSP participants (with the exception of payment of the program fee).
